We are finally home! It's been a rough two days of travel but we finally made it back to the house at 430 this morning, just five hours after our planned arrival (I must admit it felt like more - that delay in Detroit really took it out of us). We finally got off the ground at about 230 and that pilot pushed it because we made it to Norfolk in record time. By the time we left Detroit we had spent as much time there as we had on the plane from China. Got the kids to sleep by about 6am - took forever to get Lucy to sleep this morning. And then we slept and slept and slept and I couldn't pry my butt out of bed until after 4pm. It took the better part of an hour to get the rest of the fam up. We are all up now, feels like we should be eating breakfast. Anyhow, we are are home, we are awake, we've yet to unpack and we've got to get these kids back on an EST schedule. Thanks to all who read the blog and made comments - now that we can see them we have gone back and read through all your thoughtful commentary. We'll keep posting pics of the family and our new, wonderful addition.
