Just a quick post to say that we have landed in Detroit and negotiated our way through customs and immigration. Lucy became a US citizen at 1150am when our plane touched down in the good old US of A. We are doing our long layover thing in Detroit and will arrive in Norfolk tonight at about 1130pm. The 14 hour plane trip was pretty rough with the little one only allowing me to hold her the whole time. So basically I've been awake now since 11pm Wednesday night (EST). That will make over 48 hours without sleep. Pray for this last leg as I am really dragging and hoping Lucy will let Melissa hold her.
